AMMAN — The General Association for Workers in Tourism and Aviation on Monday reached an agreement with the Royal Jordanian (RJ) administration, under which the airline will review the salary scale.

RJ CEO Amer Hadidi and syndicate president Yousef Qanab signed the agreement at the Labour Ministry.

The two parties also agreed on a mechanism for paying allowances.

Earlier this week, the association said RJ employees planned to hold a strike on Wednesday if the airline refuses to consider their demands.
