Rafah Party criticises projected Israeli gas deal

AMMAN — The Rafah Party on Sunday criticised the government’s plans to buy gas from Israel, commending the Lower House’s stance against the deal.
Party Secretary General Mohammad Shomali called on the government to respect the House’s recommendation in shelving the planned gas deal.

Minister of Public Sector Development Khleef Al Khawaldeh on Monday briefed the Lower House’s Administrative Committee on the ministry’s executive plan and the work plan of the Institute of Public Administration for 2015, a ministry statement said.
The Lower House’s first deputy speaker, Ahmad Safadi, met on Thursday with Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan Teguh Wardoyo and highlighted the depth of Jordanian-Indonesian relations.
