Protesters show solidarity with Syria

AMMAN – Jordanians gathered outside the Syrian embassy in Amman on Thursday to express solidarity with Syrians suffering as a result of the civil war.
The protesters performed taraweeh prayers and marked Laylat Al Qadr, which Muslims celebrate on the eve of Ramadan 27 of to mark the anniversary of the revelation of the Koran.
During the event, organised by the Jordanian Commission to Support the Syrian People, participants prayed for peace to prevail in Syria.
