AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya, president of El Hassan Science City and the Royal Scientific Society, on Sunday said solar energy should be a main component of Jordan’s energy resources in the future.

At the inauguration ceremony of a solar electricity plant at El Hassan Science City, Princess Sumaya said solar energy meets economic, social and environmental needs.

Established with the support of the Japanese government, the plant will generate electricity for El Hassan Science City.
