Princess Alia inaugurates alternative energy project

AMMAN — HRH Princess Alia on Tuesday inaugurated an alternative energy project in the Mamurah area of the Southern Jordan Valley.
The project will work to secure sustainable education in remote areas with the help of renewable energy.
Princess Alia said schools in particular need clean and non-costly alternative energy, before such projects are expanded to cover all local community facilities.
The project is implemented by the Asalah Company with the support of the Jordan Islamic Bank, in cooperation with the Princess Alia Foundation.
