AMMAN — Orange Jordan on Monday filed a lawsuit against an entity that impersonated it on Facebook, according to a source at the company.
“An entity created a fake account on Facebook using Orange Jordan’s logo and pictures and started posting political comments about the Jerash Festival and the situation in Syria,” the source, who preferred anonymity, told The Jordan Times.
Orange Jordan complained to the Criminal Investigation Department and a probe is under way to identify the impostor, the source said.
