AMMAN — The Independent Elections Commission (IEC) on Wednesday said that it not recorded any violations concerning the use of political money in the by-election for Irbid’s Second District, adding that it has not received any citizen complaint in this regard, either.

A Lower House seat was left vacant after the death of MP Mohammad Khasawneh. During a press conference on Wednesday, IEC President Riyadh Shakaa said that a plan is now in place in cooperation with the Public Security Department to deal with any security incidents during the by-election.
