YWC refers 17 cases of illegal water use to judiciary

AMMAN — Yarmouk Water Company (YWC) Director Hassan Hazaimeh on Tuesday said that 17 cases of illegal use of water have been referred to court, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hazaimeh said that the cases included changing the water meters and diverting water from main and subordinate carriers without an official subscription for the purpose of irrigation, pumping water to wells and selling water to citizens.
The cases of illegal use of water services within YWC areas have reached 1,400, Hazaimeh said
