Youth minister attends launch of organ donation initiative

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Prince Raad, Youth Minister Hadithah Khreisha on Wednesday attended a ceremony to launch an initiative for organ donation as part of the celebrations held for His Majesty King Abdullah’s birthday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The initiative, titled “Organ donation is a sea of giving 2”, was organised by the North Amman Security Directorate in cooperation with the ministry and the Jordanian Association for the Promotion of Organ Donation. The ceremony included screening of a film on the community police unit and an awareness-raising seminar on the benefits of organ donation.
