World Music Day preparations begin

AMMAN — The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in collaboration with the Jordan Tourism Board, has announced starting preparations for the celebration of World Music Day on June 21, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Jordan is participating in various musical and entertainment activities to celebrate the global initiative launched 37 years ago.
“This international event is a great opportunity for Jordan to introduce its rich culture and traditions, its diversity of creativity to the global audience, as well as allowing our aspiring artists to show their talents to the world,” said Lina Annab, minister of tourism and antiquities on Wednesday, adding “we are always keen to give Jordanians and visitors extraordinary experiences to discover Jordan, and through our various activities and offers, everyone will be able to discover the beauty of Jordan’s land, civilisation and culture.”
