Workshop held on international refugee law

AMMAN — Government Coordinator for Human Rights Abeer Dababneh on Saturday expressed the government’s pride in cooperating with the UNHCR to support and protect refugees hosted by the Kingdom, despite the pressure imposed by the crisis on various vital sectors.

The workshop, held at the Dead Sea, addressed international refugee law and was organised by the UNHCR, in cooperation with the human rights coordinator’s office and concerned entities.

Dababneh stressed the importance of continued support to Jordan by the international community so that it may sustain its role in providing services to the refugees, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
