AMMAN — The Jordan Furniture Exporters and Manufacturers Association (JFEMA) on Sunday announced the launch of a French Development Agency-funded programme.
Managed by the Business Development Centre in cooperation with the association, the programme aims at creating new jobs for Jordanian and Syrian young people, through providing vocational and technical training for recruitment purposes in furniture factories and workshops.
The programme is also designated to cut poverty and unemployment rates in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Jerash and Ajloun governorates, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
