Veterans association says it is only representative of retired servicemen

AMMAN — The Economic and Social Association for Retired Servicemen and Veterans on Saturday said it is the only legitimate representative of military and security retirees, and thus it has the authority to speak on their behalf, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Retired Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Irdeisat, director general of the association, said that statements issued by others “claiming” to be representatives of retired servicemen are false.
