Three Trade Ministry employees suspended in bribery case

AMMAN — The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) prosecutor suspended three employees from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply who were assigned to market monitoring and shop inspection, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
They were sent to 15-day judicial custody at Juweideh Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre after being accused of taking bribes worth thousands of dinars. A spokesperson for the JIACC said that the board had transferred the file to the prosecutor months ago.
