Three more detained in expired nuts, coffee beans case

AMMAN — The integrity and anti-corruption prosecutor on Tuesday decided to detain three people for 15 days at Juweideh Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre for allegedly importing expired nuts and coffee beans.
They were also accused of importing the goods through fictitious firms, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The prosecutor previously detained a major trader of nuts and another two employees from the Jordan Food and Drug Administration for 15 days in relation to the case.
