Through productive kitchens and in collaboration with community-based organisations, the partnership between JHCO and Switzerland addressed immediate food needs and engaged in economic empowerment and social cohesion.
Altogether, around 27.700 people from the most vulnerable households of the governorates of Amman, Zarqa Madaba and Balqa were provided with hot meals over the course of the month, according to the statement.
Switzerland contributed JD80.000 to the initiative and together with JHCO also organised an Iftar for 100 children in which the Swiss embassy Staff volunteered to help the less fortunate families.
