Suspects wanted in financial cases apprehended

AMMAN — The Judicial Execution Directorate on Wednesday arrested 33 suspects who were wanted in various criminal and financial cases, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Public Security Department (PSD) spokesperson Lt. Col. Amir Sartawi said that one of the suspects was wanted in financial cases worth JD4.4 million and was arrested in Karak, adding that another suspect was wanted in 24 financial cases worth JD 500,000, and he was arrested in the capital after he had been on the run since 2016.
Sartawi said that the other 31 persons, who were arrested in Amman, Balqa, Zarqa, Jerash, Irbid and Karak, were wanted in financial and criminal cases.
