AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Thursday condemned Israeli occupation forces' attacks against residents of Jenin camp. The attacks resulted in the deaths of nine people and critically injured several more.

In a statement, Fayez called on the international community to support Palestinians and urged Arab and international governments, parliaments, legal institutions and the international community to assume the legal and moral responsibility to confront terrorist attacks against Palestinians, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

He also called for halting the racist practices and brutal massacres in Jenin and other occupied Palestinian territories, which take place under the support of the far-right Israeli government, emphasising the Senate's support for the Kingdom's efforts in defending the Palestinian cause and Palestinians' right to freedom and statehood.
