Science League launches first stage of website

AMMAN — The Science League, in cooperation with USAID and Family Health International, on Thursday celebrated the launch of the first stage of The Science League website.
The website will be a computer game-based platform for teaching children between the ages of 6 and 17, through scientific experiment and actual interaction, according to a Science League statement.
The League managed to implement its programme in seven Jordanian cities, providing its services to more than 4,000 students in addition to developing five curricula to support teachers.
Initiatives like the Science League’s will create a generation with critical thinking and scientific skills, Abdul Hammed Shoman Foundation’s CEO Valentina Qussisiya said in her opening speech.
