Saudi participation in Jerash Festival discussed

AMMAN — Aqel Biltaji, head of the high committee of Jerash Festival, and the Saudi embassy’s cultural attaché in Amman, Rashed Nabet, discussed procedures for Saudi Arabia to take part in the 32nd festival.
Biltaji highlighted the importance of the participation of Saudi poets and folklore bands in the event, stressing such events’ roles in showcasing both countries’ histories and cultures, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Nabet stressed the significance of having an Arab festival like Jerash Festival, given its important artistic and cultural messages. The festival is due to be held in July this year.
