Saudi chief of staff sits in on special forces exercise

AMMAN — Saudi Chief of Staff Gen Fayyad Ruwaili on Wednesday attended a military counterterrorism exercise, which was held at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre.
Ruwaili was briefed by Col. Sufian Sleihat, commander of the King Abdullah Special Operations Group, on the drill, which included a scenario where a terrorist group occupies a border village.
The drill focused on tactics used by the King Abdullah Special Operations Group to clear the village from terrorists.
