AMMAN — Under the Royal directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday that a Royal Jordanian Air Force plane be dispatched to airlift Jordanian Munib Abdullah Al Ahmed Al Ali, who was involved in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia, to King Hussein Medical Centre.

The Kingdom’s closed border crossings, due to the coronavirus breakout, did not hinder the evacuation process, which reflects His Majesty’s keenness to protect the lives of Jordanians, wherever they are, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

The patient’s family expressed thanks for the Royal gesture and appreciation for the JAF’s leading role, Petra said.
