AMMAN — Royal Jordanian (RJ) airline has held an iftar banquet for orphans at the Children Museum Jordan, according to a statement from the national carrier. The iftar was attended by 250 children, who also visited the museum, which offers a unique educational experience, the statement said.

RJ has also delivered hundreds of parcels to underprivileged citizens in different parts of Jordan, in cooperation with the Social Development Ministry. “RJ’s interaction and continuous communication with the local community, while giving a hand to the less privileged people, is part of the national airline’s mission.

It reflects our keenness on maintaining our social and national role in the service of Jordan, because we believe in the positive results of joint public-private sector work on the welfare of the community,” Royal Jordanian President and CEO Stefan Pichler was quoted in the statement as saying.
