Report shows 5 per cent rise in Jordanians attending US schools

AMMAN — The number of Jordanian students enrolling in US educational institutions increased by 5 per cent for 2018 compared, according an International Education Institute annual report.
The 2017/2018 “open doors report” showed that there are currently 2,420 Jordanian students studying at US colleges and universities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Jordan was ranked seventh in the Middle East / North Africa region for the total number of students in the United States. The total number of international students in US universities and colleges exceeded 1 million in 2018, for the third year, with a 1.5 per cent increase compared to last year.
