Quake strikes Gazan coast

AMMAN — An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale on Wednesday struck the Palestinian west coast at 7:53pm and at a depth of 10km.
In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Director of the Jordan Seismological Observatory Mahmoud Qaryouti said the earthquake was felt by residents of the Kingdom, including some in Amman.
