Protesters picket Parliament over rising prices, taxes

AMMAN — Dozens of protesters picketed Parliament on Sunday to protest against measures to raise prices and taxes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the sit-in, organised by nationalist and leftist parties, participants called for applying a progressive tax system and addressing the economic crisis using a comprehensive approach that avoids increasing burdens on residents.
