AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and Health Minister Nathir Obeidat on Thursday discussed means to enhance cooperation related to developing unified protocols to diagnose disabilities prior to issuing an identification card next year.
During the virtual meeting, Prince Mired called on the ministry to give priority to people with disabilities under the exceptional epidemiological situation, especially that they are more vulnerable to contract the virus and suffer from its complications, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Obeidat said that the ministry “will spare no effort” to guarantee people with disabilities access to necessary health services.
