Planning Ministry holds Iftar for orphans

AMMAN —The Planning and International Ministry’s social responsibility team on Tuesday organised an Iftar (fast breaking meal) banquet for 51 orphan children. The banquet came as part of the ministry’s initiative to support the local community, a ministry statement said on Wednesday.
In addition to the Iftar, the evening included the distribution of gifts and entertainment performances. The social responsibility team was formed in 2016 to address issues related to the local community and to enhance the concept of social responsibility within the ministry.
