Paper permits issued by security centre to remain valid, says official

AMMAN — Coronavirus Crisis Cell Operations Director Brig. Gen. Mazin Faraya on Thursday confirmed that paper permits issued by the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management and the Prime Ministry will remain valid.
Faraya also confirmed that drivers of cargo trucks, trucks carrying foodstuffs, flour and vegetables, as well as liquefied gas tanks, fuel, gas and water distribution vehicles will be allowed to move without time restrictions.
He added that produce shops, bakeries and water and grocery stores will remain open daily in residential neighbourhoods only, and that petrol stations authorised by the Ministry of Energy will continue their usual work.
