Ninth Warrior Competition concludes

AMMAN — Deputising for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, the JAF’s head of the human resources and logistics on Thursday attended the closing ceremony of the ninth Annual Warrior Competition at the Dead Sea.
Chinese teams won the first and third places, while a Lebanese team took second place, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Friday.
The five-day contest, which started on April 30, saw the participation of 31 teams from 16 countries. It included seven group events and one individual event, which all comprised sniper intervention, breaking-ins, building clearances, endurance, shooting on fixed and mobile targets, hostage rescue and administering first aid.
