AMMAN — The House of Representatives Palestine Committee on Sunday condemned Israeli escalations and violations, as hundreds of Palestinians across the occupied West Bank were being detained.
In a statement released on Sunday, the committee warned against escalating the situation, as well as against crimes committed by settlers, which committee described as acts of terror.
Committee Chairman MP Yahya Saud said that Israeli practices have led to more tension and discrimination, adding that such practices hinder the peace process and the realisation of an independent Palestinian state.
The committee called on the international community to put an end to Israel violations and safeguard the rights of Palestinians.
