AMMAN — EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini on Sunday at the German-Jordanian University attended a ceremony to honour 145 students, who constitute the second batch of graduates of a Syrian-Jordanian education project.
During the ceremony, Mogherini participated in a dialogue session with Jordanian and Syrian students who spoke about their studies, professional ambitions and local political conditions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Mogherini’s visit is part of the EU concern in education and youth in Jordan.
The Syrian-Jordanian education project, implemented by the university, helps Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians in host communities to reach higher education through scholarship programmes.
