Ministry planning water projects worth JD4.6m in Maan

AMMAN — Water Minister Hazem Nasser on Saturday said the ministry has floated tenders for water projects in Maan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The water and wastewater projects will cost JD4.6 million, funded by the Gulf grant from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and the French Agency for Development.
They include building a new reservoir with a capacity of 1,000 cubic metres at Mreighah pumping station. The ministry will also build new water pipelines in Maan, some 220km south of Amman.
