Ministers tour projects in northwestern Badia

AMMAN — Ministers of public works and municipalities Sami Halaseh and Walid Masri on Tuesday checked on the needs of citizens and ongoing construction projects in municipalities in the northwestern Badia district, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The two ministers first checked on the JD1-million Hai Al Sahl primary school project in the Khalidiyah area, which is 85 per cent completed with funding from the Cities and Villages Development Bank. It is designed to be able to host students with disabilities.
They also visited Al Zaatari School, which cost JD700,000, as well as the Sweilmeh health centre, which costs JD900,000 and is expected to be ready in May this year. The two ministers also met with notables in the area and listened to their demands, which focused mainly on renovating roads.
