‘Merger to form new integrity commission complete’

AMMAN — The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) on Thursday completed the procedures to merge the ombudsman bureau and the anti-corruption commission into the new commission that became a legal successor to both institutions as of June 15.
A JIACC official said the merger was completed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The commission is administratively and financially independent, managed and supervised by a president and four board members, according to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Law for 2015.
