Land Transport Regulatory Commission launches e-system project

AMMAN— The Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) on Monday launched its e-system project, which ensures the rights of the parties involved in the transportation process and the privacy of data related to shipments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The launch ceremony was attended by Transport Minister Hussein Al Souob, ICT Minister Majd Shweikeh, Transport Ministry Secretary General Anmar Gharaibeh and LTRC Director General Salah Lozi.

Souob said the project will contribute to increasing compatibility between international agreements in the field of commodities transportation and Jordanian laws and regulations, in addition to facilitating the passage of trucks through border crossings and on international roads.
