Labour minister meets with professional associations’ leaders

AMMAN — Labour Minister Ali Ghezawi on Wednesday visited the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) and the Jordan Medical Association (JMA), where he discussed with unionists ways to find jobs for their unemployed members, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JEA President Majid Tabba said that with the increasing number of engineering graduates, it has become harder to employ and train them.
For his part, JMA President Ali Abous said that there are 880 unemployed doctors, while the number of Jordanian medical students in the Kingdom and abroad has reached 23,000, urging joint efforts to find jobs for these members.
