By JT - Jul 11,2019 - Last updated at Jul 11,2019

AMMAN — The King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba has renewed its licence for two more years from the Aviation Regulatory Commission (ARC), Airport Director Nasser Majali said on Wednesday, refuting allegations that the facility has not been licensed.

Majali added that the airport has been licensed through the ARC since March 2008, and it has renewed every two years. He also added that the airport is periodically examined by the commission and its licence renewed after complying with all of the commission’s requirements, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
