King earns international medal for promoting peace, assisting refugees

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Raad received a medal from Nizami Ganjavi International Centre, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The international medal came in appreciation of His Majesty’s efforts for peace and stability in the region, and the role of Jordan in helping refugees “on behalf of the world”. The prince received the medal during a ceremony at the centre that was attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The prince conveyed the King’s greeting to the centre, commending the cooperation between the two countries. Established in 2012, Nizami Ganjavi is comprised of former presidents and prime ministers, in addition to international academics and politicians, and aims to enhance dialogue and understanding between cultures and people.
