JUST achieves 26th worldwide in TIMES category for 2019

AMMAN — The Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) recently announced placing 26 globally in the citations category of the TIMES Higher Education ranking, according to a statement released by JUST.

Citations is a measure and indicator of the impact and influence of an institution’s research output, according to the statement, the ranking data of which is gathered strictly by the ranking organisation itself based on international databases.

JUST was also one of only three institutions in the top 26 that come from outside the US and UK. JUST came in third among universities in developing countries, and second in Arab and Islamic spheres.
