AMMAN — The Jordanian Press Association (JPA) on Wednesday said it will relentlessly defend the rights of its members, warning against any measures that would affect journalists' job security and their living.

In a statement on Wednesday, JPA President Rakan Saaideh was quoted as saying  that he is closely following up on the situation of syndicate's members working at certain media outlets, stressing that the association will firmly face any violations against the rights of journalists using all available means.

Saaideh said that the association is not responsible for the "accumulative failure of media outlets' administrations and their inefficiency in running financial resources and violations".
