Jordan urges Denmark to increase support

AMMAN — Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury on Monday urged the Danish government to increase its support to Jordan through the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a meeting with a Danish delegation, headed by Minister of Development Cooperation Ulla Tornaes, Fakhoury discussed boosting bilateral cooperation, stressing the importance of support so that Jordan can continue its role in preserving the security of the region through fighting terrorism, protecting and aiding refugees, and enhancing religious co-existence and tolerance.
