AMMAN — The government on Monday condemned the terrorist attack on a Lebanese village near the Syrian border, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

At least five people were killed and dozens more injured when four suicide bombers blew themselves up in the Christian village of Qaa on Monday. Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said terrorist groups seek to create chaos through these attacks in order to destabilise the region.

He voiced Jordan's solidarity with Lebanon in confronting terrorism and expressed his condolences to the government and the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
