JMD, Arabia Weather sign cooperation deal

AMMAN — The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) and the Arabia Weather Co. on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding on exchanging expertise in meteorology and its applications.
JMD Director General Mohammad Samawi and Arabia Weather CEO Mohammad Shaker signed the memo in the presence of Transport Minister Hussein Al Souob, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Souob said the memo is part of the government's efforts to enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Under the memo, the institutions will implement joint projects and exchange visits.
