Interior minister checks on CDD preparations

AMMAN — Interior Minister and President of the Civil Defence Higher Council Samir Mubaidin on Wednesday checked on the procedures followed by the Civil Defence Department (CDD) to deal with the prevailing weather conditions.
During a visit to the CDD’s operation and control unit, Mubaidin listened to a briefing by CDD Director Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazayah on the CDD personnel’s roles in dealing with the weather conditions across the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
CDD personnel during the depression dealt with several cases of birth and kidney dialysis that were transferred to nearby hospitals, and dealt with water pumping cases in houses in low-lying areas.
