IEC set for new Muwaqqar municipal, governorate council elections

AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Thursday said that it has finished procedures to re-hold the municipal and governorate council elections in Muwaqqar on Saturday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
IEC spokesperson, Jihad Momani, said that the elections include head of the Muwaqqar Municipality and 13 local councils in constituencies 28 and 29 affiliated with the Capital Governorate Council.
