Health Ministry appoints 150 general practitioners

AMMAN — Health Minister Ali Hiasat decided on Sunday to appoint 150 general practitioners in the ministry’s healthcare institutions in coordination with the Civil Service Bureau.
The head of administrative affairs at the Health Ministry, Abdul Rahman Maani, said this is the first batch in a series of appointments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Maani said these employments are “unprecedented” in terms of quantity and variety, noting that they will give the ministry the ability to expand the residency programmes for doctors.
