Hammad talks ties with Kuwaiti ambassador to Jordan

AMMAN — Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations are a “benchmark” for bilateral and inclusive Arab cooperation, Interior Minister Salameh Hammad said on Wednesday.
In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, he added that the keenness of both countries’ leaders to maintain good relations have contributed to facilitating efforts to expand them in a number of political, economic and social fields. Hammad affirmed the government’s dedication to providing all forms of care to Kuwaitis and Arab Gulf nationals in the Kingdom, adding that the government constantly checks on them to try and eliminate any obstacles they face.
Hammad’s remarks came during a meeting with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Dehani. The meeting also tackled ways to enhance cooperation within the fields of security. The Kuwaiti ambassador his expressed pride in the distinguished relations between the two countries and lauded the Interior Ministry’s efforts to support Kuwaitis in Jordan.
