Halaseh, Saudi delegates check on Saudi-funded projects

AMMAN — Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh and a delegation from the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) on Wednesday toured several projects financed by Saudi Arabia through the SDF.

The tour included checking on industrial estates in Jerash, Balqa and Madaba, where progress reached an average of 12 per cent, according to a ministry statement, which noted that work in these projects started in January.

The total cost of implementing these estates in the three governorates and in Tafileh is around $31 million.
