Freihat meets Cypriot defence minister

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and Cypriot Defence Minister Christoforos Fokaides on Monday signed a cooperation agreement which aims to strengthen military relations between both countries.

Freihat commended Jordanian-Cypriot relations and highlighted the importance of both countries’ armies exchanging training and expertise, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Fokaides praised the continuous cooperation between the two armies.
